Mansoben membagi tulisannya ini ke dalam empat sub bagian, yakni pendahuluan, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan kajian tentang keterangan-keterangan tertulis tentang nama Guinea, Papua, dan Irian Jaya, dan membahas nama-nama itu, serta ditutup dengan sebuah kesimpulan.
